Baronial Invesiture ‘Fit’ for Muiredhach O’Cuileannain

Welp. That was that. We became Baronial Heirs.

I had to start before we knew. It felt very presumptuous, but it had to be done. TRM announced the results of the polling 3 weeks before the big event – and lead time was necessary. Besides, even if it wasn’t us, I felt good making garb for my dear friend.

For Muireadhach, I made a 14th century style parti-color cote in linen. I chose the brown and green motif as our Baronial heradlry has brown bucks and a green laurel wreath – and we all sort of fancy our barony has a woodland vibe.

I used a machine for the construction and button holes. The fabric buttons and seams were finished by hand.
